Additional helpful tips:
Things to Avoid:

- No bleach
- No hydrogen peroxide or similar chemicals
- No fabric softeners or dryer sheets (we recommend dryer balls instead)
- Do not wash your bedding with other colors
- Do not wash your bedding with abrasive materials such as:Â zippers, hooks, velcro, denim, etc.
- No lotions/oils as this can cause staining and/or discoloration of your bedding
Stains:
- Stain removers are fine to use as long as they are chlorine free. General stains can be treated by spraying 1 TBS of vinegar mixed with 4 TBS of water and laundering as usual. Stains from body oils or lotions can be removed by pre-washing with 1/4 cup of dish soap or gently rubbing a few drops of dish soap mixed with water onto the stain before washing. Natural stain removers containing baking soda are also great options to use.Â
Tips to Naturally Whiten Your Bedding:
- Baking Soda: Simply add half of a cup of baking soda into your usual laundry detergent and wash your bed sheets in the washing machine. Not only does baking soda help to remove the yellow stains, but it also removes unwanted smells from your sheets.
- White Vinegar:Â Acts as a natural cleaning solution that also helps eliminate bad odors from fabrics. Pour 1/2 of a cup of vinegar in a big bucket of warm water (around 1 gallon of water). Soak your bed sheets in the mixed solution for an hour or two. Afterward, drop your sheets into the washing machine and run it under the regular cycle with cold water (use a mild laundry detergent).
- Lemon Juice: Squeeze the juice from one lemon into your regular washing powder before washing the sheets in the washing machine. Lemon juice not only whitens the fabric but also provides a nice and fresh smell. TIP: For a stronger effect, combine lemon juice and vinegar cleaning methods: first, soak your sheets in the vinegar solution, and then wash it in the washing machine pouring squeezed lemon juice into the laundry detergent. Not only will this combination boost the whitening effect, but lemon juice will also neutralize the smell of the vinegar.
Ironing:
- If you wish to iron your bedding, you may do so on the lowest setting possible and without steam.
